In automated logistics and conveyor systems, a shuttle is an important conveying device with a simple structure and high mobility. Depending on site conditions, it can operate on straight tracks or heavy-duty lateral movement systems, replacing a large number of conventional conveyor devices and achieving high automation efficiency. It also significantly simplifies processes and reduces floor space, making it widely applicable in logistics systems. A shuttle-based AS/RS mainly consists of shuttles, lifts, horizontal conveyor systems, racking, and WMS/WCS management and control software. The shuttle is the core component of the system, offering high flexibility to change operational aisles as needed and accurately store or retrieve goods at designated locations according to instructions.
